I had the exact same fear! But the pneumatic push-in connectors in this kit lock tight. Zero leaks or popping off even under high water pressure. Night and day difference!

Not at all! Took me less than 15 minutes. It comes with a pipe cutter, just cut to size and push into the fittings. Fits standard outdoor faucets perfectly.
